The Economic and Policy Research (EPR) Unit of APSDPS is committed to driving growth and innovation through high-impact research. We conduct in-depth studies on public finance, social policy, and economic development, offering insights that guide the Government of Andhra Pradesh in making informed decisions on critical issues.

Our core mandate is to conduct rigorous, multidimensional research on key areas such as public finance, economic development, social protection, livelihoods, sectoral transformation, and fiscal decentralization. We collaborate closely with line departments, academic institutions, civil society, and national and international research bodies to translate complex economic realities into accessible and impactful policy inputs.
