Strategic initiative under the Digital A.P programme

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has embarked on an ambitious mission to elevate the quality and effectiveness of public service delivery through a comprehensive and strategic approach to capacity building. At the heart of this initiative lies a firm belief that good governance is fundamentally driven by the strength of its human capital—government officials who are not only well-trained and knowledgeable but also highly motivated, ethical, and responsive to the evolving needs of citizens.


In recognition of this, the Andhra Pradesh State Development Planning Society (APSDPS) has taken the lead in designing and implementing innovative capacity development programs aimed at transforming the state’s public sector workforce. These initiatives focus on enhancing both technical skills and leadership capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and service excellence.


By prioritizing human resource development and institutional strengthening, APSDPS is working to build a more agile, efficient, and citizen-centric government. This transformation is not only about improving internal processes, but also about delivering tangible improvements in the quality of life for people across Andhra Pradesh—ensuring that public services are accessible, inclusive, and aligned with the aspirations of a progressive and digitally empowered society.

    The team spearheads the implementation of the Government of India’s Mission Karmayogi – iGOT initiative within the state. This involves coordination with the Capacity Building Commission of India and the iGOT platform to drive the initiative effectively across all departments.
